Cal Success:

• Wrapped up his Cal career in 2016-17 as a key contributor in the sprint freestyle events.
• Provided one of the most memorable swims of 2016-17 at Spieker Aquatics Complex when, in his next to last dual meet, he won the 100 free against USC. His time of 44.68 led a 1-2-3-4 finish for Cal in the event.
• Ranked sixth on the team in the 50 free, seventh in the 100 free and eighth in the 100 fly in 2017.
• Made his mark for the Bears in 2015-16 in the sprint freestyle events as well as the butterfly.
• Set his top times of the season in the 50 free and 100 butterfly at the 2016 Pac-12 Championships. Had Cal's sixth-fastest time in both events.
• Set his top 100 free time at the Georgia Invitational and finished the year with Cal's eighth-fastest time in the event.
• Competed in the butterfly and freestyle as a freshman in 2014-15.
• Finished second in the 50 freestyle at Cal's 2015 dual meet against Stanford with a time of 20.19 seconds.

High School/Club/National Success:

• Competed at the 2015 USA Swimming Futures Championships in Mt. Hood, Ore. and placed third in both the 50 and 100-meter freestyle.
• Attended Monte Vista High School in Danville, Calif. where he set seven school records.
• National age group 15-16 record holder in the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
• Six-time East Bay Athletic League champion and 11-time finalist at the CIF-North Coast Section Championships.
• Three-time NCS Scholar-Athlete.
• Earned scholastic All-American honors in 2011-2012.
• 13-time All-American.
