Granado started all 13 games at center at Cal as a 2015 junior after redshirting in his first season with the program in 2014 following his transfer from Golden West College. He is one of four players listed as the starter at center on the 2016 preseason depth chart and is one of Cal's four returning starting offensive linemen along with Chris Borrayo, Aaron Cochran and Steven Moore that helped the Golden Bears set numerous records in 2015 including single-season school marks for passing yardage (4,892), passing yards per game (376.3 ypg), passing touchdowns (44) and scoring offense (37.9 ppg, modern-era record), among others. Cal also ranked third nationally in passing offense in 2015, as well as eighth in total offense and 17th in scoring offense, with all of the numbers second in the Pac-12.

• Helped Cal become the only team in the nation to have six receivers with 40 or more catches and the first college football team in recorded history to have six players with 40 or more receptions and three 500-yard rushers in the same season

• Played in all 11 games for a 2013 sophomore squad that finished with a 9-2 overall record and a 5-1 league mark good for second place in the Southern Conference of the National Division in the Southern California Football Association in one of the most successful seasons in school history
• Reached the Southern California Bowl to play in a bowl game for the first time since 1976 and was ranked No. 5 in the state heading into the contest that also served as an SCFA semifinal playoff game
• Sophomore team led the conference in time of possession (31:32), ranked second in rushing (153.3 ypg) and rushing first downs (103), and was fourth in scoring (33.8 ppg)
Edison HS (Class of 2012)
• Prep squad combined to compile a 28-8 overall record and 14-1 conference mark during his three varsity campaigns, while making the Southern Section Pac 5 Division playoffs each of his last two seasons
• Earned first-team All-Southern Section Pac 5 honors for a squad as a 2011 senior that finished 8-3 overall and won the Sunset League with a 5-0 conference record, earning a spot in the first round of the Southern Section Pac 5 Division playoffs before finishing the season ranked No. 41 in the state
• Contributed one tackle and one fumble recovery on defense as a senior
