Marshall spent one full season at Cal as a redshirt freshman inside receiver as a true freshman in 2014 before moving to offensive lineman but left the program prior to the 2015 campaign without seeing any action. Marshall played three seasons of prep football and capped his career as a 2013 senior by playing for a 9-3 team that finished ranked 10th in the state of Oregon according to MaxPreps.
