Oliver is looking to see his first action at Cal in 2016 after redshirting as a 2014 true freshman and not playing due to injury as a 2015 redshirt freshman. Oliver played for both the Philadelphia All-Star Team and Pennsylvania State All-Star Team following his 2013 senior season at Archbishop Wood High School. He earned second-team All-State honors from the Philadelphia Fan Network, as well as first-team All-Philadelphia Catholic League and Rich Kelly Award recognition as a senior when he did not allow a sack for a team that finished with a 13-2 overall record and won Pennsylvania AAA State, Eastern State and Philadelphia Catholic League titles.
