What They Are Saying
• Sonny Dykes
“Austin is a long and athletic receiver who gives us good size at the position that we expect to continue to develop. We like him right now as an outside receiver but he is a versatile player that can play a lot of different positions. We also like that he’s a local kid with a family history at Cal. We’re excited about what he brings to the table and think he has a chance to be a good football player for us.”
• Austin Aaron
“There are some many reasons why I decided to be the first verbal commitment in the class of 2015 to Cal back in April – the opportunity to be a third-generation California Golden Bear and to follow in the footsteps of both my dad and my grandma is truly something special. Also being 30 or 40 minutes away from my home in Napa is awesome. I cannot wait for the opportunity to play in front of my friends and family. Lastly, the fact that Cal is the No. 1 public university in the world, you can’t pass that up. A degree from Cal and you are set for life. Those are a few main reasons why I decided to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of California, Berkeley.”
• ESPN
“Possesses outstanding size and overall measurables. Long and tall with a wide catch radius and excellent frame development upside to add bulk and mass.”
