Davis has played in 23 games of 25 possible games with one start and has produced nine tackles and one quarterback hurry over his 2014 sophomore and 2015 junior seasons at Cal playing on the defensive line and also as a blocker on the punt team. Davis transferred to Cal from Long Beach City College, where he spent two campaigns officially as a redshirt freshman in both 2012 and 2013. He was also previously a member of the football program as a 2011 true freshman at Washington State but did not see any game action. Davis is the team’s lone sixth-year senior in 2016 after being granted an additional season of eligibility from the NCAA following the 2015 campaign. He is listed as one of two players listed as sharing the No. 2 spot at one defensive tackle spot on the 2016 preseason depth chart.
